colour wheel

A colour wheel is used to know what colours to use to compliment each other to help an artist when colouring. This is useful because it shows the shows the artist the relationship between colours. the colours that contrast with each other are either analogous or complementary. Complementary colours are across from each other on the wheel and compliment one another well when used together.
