Andy Warhol was a lead artist in the 1950s and 1960s, his is famous for his unique style of pop art.    Andy Warhol's most famous art piece is his The Marilyn Diptych (1962). This piece was a pop art painting of  Marilyn Monroe, who was a famous actress in America at the time. The Marilyn Diptych sold for the most out of all of Andy Warhol's paintings. This piece sold for $17.2 million setting an all time record for Andy Warhol.

Andy Goldsworthy

Andy Goldsworthy is a British sculptor that creates land art as well as environmental art out of the environment around him. He uses things like rocks, wood, snow, leaves and whatever her can find in the environment to make his art. Andy Goldsworthy also has pieces of art displayed at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The National Gallery of Art and de Young Museum.

Roy Lichtenstein

Roy Lichtenstein was another artist famous in the 1960s who was famous for his pop art. Roy Lichtenstein had a unique art style, through the use of primary colours, thick outlines, and Benday dots his painting looked like machine printed cartoons. Roy Lichtenstein's most valuable painting is Masterpiece (1962).  Masterpiece is a 1962 pop art painting by Roy Lichtenstein that uses his classic Ben-Day dots and narrative content contained within a speech balloon. In 2017 the painting sold for $165 million.
